OPAM (Institution for the Promotion of the Literacy in the World)

The project “OPAM” saw the realization of a book from an unpublished story by Silvia Nadalini, in favour of the Non-profit organization OPAM (Institution for the Promotion of the Literacy in the World). From an educational point of view, the first act performed was the simplification of the original text. This allowed the participation of all students, including those with cognitive difficulties, in reading and understanding the basic text. Activities were developed for both a linguistic reflection and the understanding of the text and the message conveyed. The final act was the graphic creation of some "moments" of the story performed by some students with disabilities. The book got entitled "the four Benjamin" is divided into two parts: The original text, illustrated by a professional cartoonist; the simplified text, illustrations made by the students and didactic activities developed by prof.ssa Daniela Boscolo and run by students.
